What is lifestyle newborn photography?
For lifestyle newborn sessions, I will typically come to your home and capture your baby and family in natural poses. I do not pose or swaddle your baby, nor will I bring any specialty posing equipment with me (like you'd expect with a studio newborn photographer). The goal of this type of session is to capture your newly growing family in a natural way.
Do I get to choose my images? Can I buy more images after the session is over?
Yes! You will receive a digital gallery to choose your images from. You will also have the option of buying additional images for $5 each or the full gallery for a discounted price. The full gallery is included in the lifestyle newborn session package for no extra cost.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee?
I am based out of Hibbing, MN. No fees apply within 30 minutes of Hibbing for the maternity session or within 1 hour of Hibbing for the newborn session. Beyond that, I charge a fee of $20 per half hour of distance from Hibbing one-way.
Do I have to order prints from you?
I highly recommend ordering prints through me to ensure the highest quality product, but you are not required to. You'll receive a link to view and download your photos, so you have the option to have them printed at your lab of choice.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept all major credit/debit cards; I also have various electronic payment methods available (PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp). If you are a repeat customer, you have the option to pay with cash or a check on the day of our session.
What are you shooting with?
I'm a Nikon gal. I recently upgraded to the D850. For newborn sessions, my go-to lens is my 35mm 1.8.
When will I get my photos?
I guarantee your digital gallery will be delivered within one week of your session, but I often deliver sneak peeks much sooner than that.
Do you do birth photography?

Can I upgrade my maternity or announcement session if i book a package?
Absolutely! You can always pay the difference to upgrade.
Can I buy a gift certificate for someone else?
